Super Bowl HIIT workout

default_534x488Whether or not you liked the outcome of the Super Bowl…you will love this HIIT workout. Actually, you will probably hate it, because it’s ridiculously hard. However, your goals will love it! My team, Team LP3, created this workout as a fun way to get a workout involved with the Super Bowl. I did it today and was close to throwing up…give it a try!

This is a pyramid workout based on the point spread from each quarter, but i’ll break it down to make it really easy!

 

 

Workout:

  • First quarter: 8 points were scored and the exercise is push ups, so do..
    • 8 push ups, 7 push ups, 6 push ups, 5 push ups, 4 push ups, 3 push ups, 2 push ups, 1 push up!
  • Second quarter: 14 points were scored and the exercise is burpees so do…
    • 14 burpees, 13 burpees, 12 burpees, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
  • Third quarter: 22 points were scored and exercise is jump squats….
    • 22 jump squats, 21 jump squats, 20 jump squats, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! OUCHHH
  • Fourth quarter: 8 points were scored and the exercise is kettle bell swings
    • 8 kettle bell swings, 7 kettle bell swings, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! DONE!

Who complete this? How long did it take you?!! This is a hard one, but it’s so worth it. Good luck:)!
