Have you ever noticed that when you are thinking about someone or talking about them you seem to run into them soon after? I don’t necessarily think that this is a coincidence. I think that when we think or visualize something, we draw that into our life, or attract it.
Many people call this the ‘law of attraction.’ The law of attraction is simply the idea that “like attracts like,” whether positive or negative.
The Secret is a popular documentary and book that brought the law of attraction to the masses. It shows how the power of thought can affect our lives dramatically and it is something that I constantly work on.
Even if you don’t see the immediate results of your positive thoughts, you will notice a huge change in how you feel. Just being aware of your thoughts and noticing when you are thinking negatively will immediately enhance your well being.
Just like anything else, changing your mindset takes practice, so the more you work on changing your negatives to positives, the easier it will become. Negative situations will begin to feel less severe and positive experiences will begin to enter your life.
